22 months

If we could slow things down just a little bit, mommy would be so happy!
We were lucky to go to the Cleveland Zoo with Gigi for the day and we ran into this monkey!  You absolutely loved the lions, elephants, monkeys, giraffes, rhinos (we even got to see Juba the new baby rhino at the zoo!), and the flamingos!  We were lucky that the flamingos were just being let out of their inside enclosure so they were very active for us!  You loved that!

Papa even met us for lunch at the zoo which was a great treat!

The weekend of mommy's birthday we went to Patterson Fruit farm to see the pumpkins with Papa and Gigi, unfortunately Daddy was out of town for work, I think in Tenneesee.
You love seeing and touching all of the pumpkins!

Trying to "borrow" a pumpkin to take home!

Walking with Papa
Mommy still can't believe that we got you in jeans, you hate wearing anything jean right now!  I think it doesn't give you enough room to move and play!

Swings!

Your favorite books this month are: Cinderella, Stuart at the Library, Alice in Wonderland, Toddlerobics, Little Rabbit's Baby Sister, Under the Sea,
You love blankets all of the sudden!  Anything can be a blanket -- towels, washcloths, changing pads, baby blankets, afghans, kitchen towels, pretty much any fabric you can find!  And you have started to wrap up your baby dolls in the blankets and rock them and sometimes you sing Mary Had a Little Lamb to them!
You can now count to 14 without much difficulty.  You know A(apple), B(baby), C(cookie), D(daddy), G(Gigi), M(mommy), N(Natalie), O(octopus), P(Papa), and S(snake).  You have learned all of your colors and name them all day long when you see things!  Mommy is so proud that you know so many shapes already: triangle, square, circle, rectangle, octagon, star, dice (cube), and sometimes pentagon!  You love to play look for the red octagon when we are in the car!  You also know that red means stop and green means go.

Exciting News!

So it is getting hard to hide the fact that our family of three is going to be a family of four! We are due to welcome our second child on March 18, 2013! I am just hoping to not have a St. Patty's Day baby....I feel like the hospital will be busy with other things that day! Here are some pictures of our growing little one!
Natalie is so excited to be a big sister! She can't wait to play with her new baby brother or sister!

21 months

Man are we ever having fun!!  Mommy and you have been going lots of places and having lots of fun!  You love to go to the park....any park, all parks, as often as possible.  You love going to Croghan Park in Fairlawn, but it is a little hard for mommy to keep you safe because the playground equipment is for a little bit bigger kids.  You are getting better and better at the slides, the stairs and the whole park.  Mommy's favorite park is Bath Township Community Park on Cleveland-Massillon Road because you can run around like a crazy girl without any help!

We went to the Taste of Hudson and they had a Little Tykes Kids Land that you loved!

Just a little bit sweaty!

I love the swings!

We had a picnic at Croghan Park on Labor Day to celebrate Daddy's birthday
Natalie thought that was pretty fun!  We had yogurt, cheese, watermelon and a blueberry muffin!

You took every single one of the towels, washcloths, and placemats out of the drawer in the kitchen and laid them flat on one of the kitchen chairs.  It kept you busy for a long time, but it let mommy make yummy Zucchini Chocolate Chunk Bread!

Your favorite books this month are: Stuart at the Library, Under the Sea, Go Dog Go!, Cinderella, Little Rabbit's Baby Sister, The Tickle Monster, Mr Brown Can Moo, Can You!, Your Baby Can Read, and pretty much any other book you can get your hands on!
You are becoming quite an artist with chalk on the driveway and crayons in your coloring books.
You pretty much speak in sentences all of the time.  You have started to stay "No" a bit more and you are starting to have your moments of meltdown, but so far so good.
Some of our favorite things you say:
Sing Mary has a Little Lamb, Happy Birthday and the theme song for Sesame Street
Daddy is working in Missouri on the towers.
Mommy goes to the office to help the little kids.
I want to go to Gigi's house!
I Love you Daddy/Mommy!
I am hungry, I want to eat!

20 months---words words words!

You started speaking in sentences most of the time during the last month.  You have pretty much stopped any frustrated screaming because now you can tell us what you need all the time!  Mommy loves that!  Your favorite things to say are: "Mommy, how we doin'?" we answer you with good, wonderful, amazing, awesome and then ask you back and you answer usually with "wunderful, dood(good), etc.; It's ok mommy; Daddy, please the princess (put on the Princess who saved herself song in the car); I love you; and so much more!

We went to a splash park with Liam and Aunt Ashley and we had a blast!

Funny Liam!

"So when can take this thing out for a spin?"

You got up early one Sunday morning and we went to church and you were beat when we got home.  We were trying to get you to eat lunch after church and you kept falling asleep in you high chair.  We finally gave in and just put you to bed.

Hanging out with Liam in a toybox at Mike and Beth LaGamba's house!

Mommy and Natalie met up with Aunt Marie, Caden and Samantha in Columbus at COSI.  Playing in the lobby while we waited for our cousins to come!
